Requesting a degree certificate on-line
Once students meet the necessary requirements established in UPC's Academic Regulations for Bachelor's and Master's Degrees, they are entitled to request the issuing of their Official Degree Certificate, as well as the European Diploma Supplement (EDS).
The European Diploma Supplement (EDS) is a document that provides information on the degree acquired by describing its nature, level, context and content. The EDS is issued in Catalan, Spanish and English and serves to validate your studies throughout Europe. The EDS must be requested at the same time as the official Degree Certificate.
Who may request it?
- Former students from Barcelona School of Civil Engineering.
Requesting the certificate
Who?
The student.
How?
Students must:
- Email the SIAE Camins - Títols to request that the procedure "Request of official degree certificate and EDS online" be started.
- Attach a copy of their National ID card (Spanish citizens) or Passport (foreigners).
When?
Throughout the academic year, except in August.
Validating of the request
Who?
SIAE Camins-Certificates.
How?
SIAE Camins-Certificates will then:
- Validate the fact that the student has ended the studies and meet the requirements to be issued the certificate.
- Generate the request form and the fees associated which will be sent to the student by email.
Paying the fees
Who?
The student.
How?
Students must:
- Check that the data informed in the request is correct and sign it by hand or electronically.
- Pay the fees by means of e-Secretaria > Impresos i pagaments
Formalising the request
Who?
The student.
How?
Students must:
- Access the Seu electrònica UPC by means of the form issued by Barcelona School of Civil Engineering and follow the instructions.
- Attach mandatorily the request form and some form of ID (National ID card or Passport).
- Attach any other document they deem necessary.
Delivering the certificate
Who?
SIAE Camins-Certificates.
How?
SIAE Camins-Certificates will then:
- Receive the entry record, verify the documents attached and confirm the payment of the fees associated.
- Issue the corresponding receipts and sign them electronically.
- Send the receipts back to the student by email.
