Exposition & defence
The exposition and defence of the Final Thesis before the panel is public and consists of two phases:
- Exposition by the student of a summary of the content of the Final Thesis (maximum 20 minutes)
- Defence by the student regarding the questions that the evaluation panel deems relevant (approximately 10 minutes)
The student must be in the venue an hour before the start of the session to save the presentations on the PC of the assigned classroom.
In the case of students of the Degree in Public Works Engineering, the student must include in his presentation data on the curricular placement.
In the event that the Final Thesis is of the Construction Project, Basic Project type or any work that includes a document or annex of the blueprints, the student must deliver to the president of the evaluation panel on the day of the defence a paper copy of such blueprints. Their scale and format are open (within DIN A0-A4 standards) as long as all the details are legible.
