Master's degree program waiver
As a general rule, registration cannot be waived, although students, in duly justified cases and for a single time, may request a total waiver of registration.
New first-year students who have waived their first-year registration lose their assigned place and must be re-admitted to the pre-registration process in order to be able to register again.
It is a condition precedent to requesting a waiver of registration that payment has been made.
Acceptance of the waiver does not entail a refund of public prices. Only if any of the reasons that give the right to a refund of public prices have occurred, the interested person may request it within a maximum period of one month after receiving the resolution. In all cases, at least the mandatory registration fees (record management, learning support, school insurance and additional services requested) must be paid.
Who can apply
Students who, for exceptional reasons, cannot start the course, and whose enrollment waiver has not been previously accepted.
How to apply
The application must be made in person at the Student Information and Service (SIAE-Camins) during user service hours.
The SIAE-Camins will provide the enrollment waiver application so that the applicant can complete and sign it.
The application must be accompanied by documentation proving the reasons for which the waiver is requested.
When to apply
Applications must be made within a maximum period of 2 months from the start of teaching activities for the corresponding academic period, regardless of the date on which enrollment was formalized. You can consult the dates established in the academic procedures calendar for the current academic year.
Any request made outside the established deadline will be denied ex officio, except in exceptional cases that must be duly justified and documented, and, despite this, the request may be denied.
Resolution of the request
The interested person will receive the resolution by certified mail to the address indicated on the waiver request form.
