Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (recorded in the Spanish Ministry of Education's degree register)
We recommend for applicants to have completed high-school courses in science and technology and have the following characteristics:
- Advanced knowledge of basic physics and mathematics studies.

Admission
To access the degree studies of Barcelona School of Civil Engineering, you must obtain a place through the university pre-enrolment procedure of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Cut-off mark and grade improvement
The cut-off mark for the 2024-2025 year is 7.425.

- Managers and technicians in the industry, engineering, administration and services.

- In companies as head of the Department of Environment and Quality, implanting quality standards (ISO, EMAS) or conducting environmental audits.
- In engineering offices, developing projects for emission reduction and gas treatment, reclamation of degraded spaces, soil treatment, design and operation of WWTP (industrial and urban) and ETAP, TRS plants (industrial and urban).
- In environmental consultancies, developing diagnostic studies and environmental management plans for companies, waste minimisation and recycling (IPPC), clean production technology proposals (BAT), environmental impact assessment studies (EIA).
- In public administrations, offering technical assessment in municipal offices and councils, developing plans for the management of natural spaces, regulations and conducting environmental audits.

In this degree, classes take 50 minutes.
- Morning: classes start at 8, 9, 10:10, 11:10, 12:10 and 13:10 with a break from 9:50 to 10:10.
- Afternoon: classes start at 14:10, 15:10, 16:10, 17:10, 18:10 and 19:10.
Grey periods are teaching hours dedicated to laboratory or test activities. Each group has their grey periods schedules specified between brackets.
From the second year onwards, on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 14:00 there are no classes and these periods can be used for cultural activities (culture period).

The Bachelor's Thesis is an original exercise to be done individually and presented and defended before a university panel consisting in a project in the sphere of the specific civil engineering synthesising and integrating the competences acquired on the course.
