VII Annual Meeting of InterPore Spain

The Escola de Camins will host the VII Annual Meeting of InterPore Spain on November 17 and 18, 2026. Participation is free, and the deadline for registration and abstract submission is October 31.

On November 17 and 18, 2026, the Escola de Camins will host the VII Annual Meeting of the Spanish Chapter of InterPore, a gathering place to share advances in porous media research and foster exchange among researchers, professionals, and students.

Participation is free, and registration is open until October 31. By this same date, anyone interested in giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster can submit an abstract of approximately 250 words, in Spanish or English. Presenting a contribution is optional.

This year's edition will feature Professor Lyesse Laloui (EPFL), Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Lecturer 2026, who will deliver the lecture Carbon dioxide injection into deep aquifers: a geomechanical perspective, on Wednesday, November 18 at 12:00 pm.

Invited speakers will also include  Andreu Corominas (UPC), José Muñoz (CIMNE), and  Pietro de Anna (UNIL), with talks on earth- and fiber-based construction materials, living matter modeling, and biofilms in porous media.
