The call for applications for the "China International Innovation Competition for University Students (2026) - Spanish Phase" is now open

Tongji University, with the support of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), invites UPC students to participate in the Spanish Phase of the China International Innovation Competition for University Students 2026.
Team competition open to undergraduate, master's, or doctoral students (current students or graduates within the last 5 years) up to 35 years old.
The winning teams from the state phase will qualify for the Global Final in China. In addition, one member from each of the top 100 teams will have the opportunity to participate in a study abroad program visiting leading technology companies in China.
Key information
- Teams of 2 to 15 members (inter-university teams are allowed).
- Projects can be submitted in the "Creativity" or "Entrepreneurship" categories, for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Key dates
- Registration deadline: May 30, 2026 (12:00 a.m. Beijing time).
- Spanish Phase Final: July 2, 2026 at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
- Global Grand Final: September 2026, in China.
