Welcome to Barcelona School of Civil Engineering at UPC-BarcelonaTech.

We hope that this training stage will be very profitable and that you will become excellent professionals in the field of civil and environmental engineering.

Below we inform you of everything you need to know to make your first enrolment at our School.

Please read this information carefully and, should you have any doubt or query about any academic procedures, contact the Student's Information Office (SIAE Camins) staff.

Step by step guide for new students

1	Activate your UPC account and log in
2	Review, complete & validate your personal details at e-Secretaria
3	Things you should know before enrolling
4	Enrolment date & time: Check the above-table to know the date of enrolment, as well as the time assigned for online enrolment. You may also check this data at e-Secretaria 24 hours in advance (Enrolment > Enrolment conditions)
5	Payment of enrolment fees If you wish to make a payment by direct debit in a single payment or in instalments, you must enter an IBAN account number in the e-Secretaria (My details > Bank accounts) and follow the instructions to complete the SEPA Mandate online validation If you wish to pay by card or at a bank, you must select the "Financial institution" option
6	Check the groups, schedules & classrooms Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering - SAP in Civil Engineering (groups are chosen by order of best transcript of records) Group 10 - Catalan/Spanish - morning Group 20 - Catalan/Spanish - afternoon Group 30 - English - morning Group 40 - Catalan/Spanish - afternoon Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering - Bachelor's Degree in Marine Sciences & Technologies (schedules are the same as Group 10 but it is divided for management purposes) Group 11 - Catalan/Spanish - afternoon Group 12 - Catalan/Spanish - afternoon
7	Check the information on grants & scholarships, public fees, payment options and enrolment discounts
8	Uploading of documents in the system. I you need to present documents to apply for fee discounts that are not already in the system, you must upload them at e-Secretaria (Document input) before enrolling online
9	Enrol online by e-Secretaria on the date and time assigned. The process cannot be finalized until you accept UPC's Commitment to academic integrity
10	Once enrolled you will receive confirmation by email and you can download the enrolment certificate in pdf at e-Secretaria
11	UPC digital card: How to obtain it
12	Delivery of UPC binder at Building C1 (front desk) form 15^th September from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6pm
13	Course starts: 14^th September 2026
14	Academic and procedure calendars: Check the School's calendars and academic regulations for any procedure you wish to carry out related to your registration
15	Welcome sessions (Auditorium, Building C2, ground floor) 09/09/2025 (10h): Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and SAP in Civil Engineering 09/09/2025 (12h): Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering and Bachelor's Degree in Marine Sciences & Technologies
