Admission

Means of admission

There are three different means to access the double degree:

  • 1st mean: Direct admission to the double degree (prior admission to one of the two master's degrees is necessary)
Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree granting access to either of the two master's degrees, including the additional training courses necessary. By this mean, students would start the first year of the double degree.
  • 2nd mean: Admission through the MsDCE
Applicants must have completed their first year of the MsDCE (60 ECTS) to access the double degree. By this mean, students would access the second year of the double degree.
  • 3rd mean: Admission through the MsDUM
Applicants must have completed their first year of the MsDUM (60 ECTS) to access the double degree and meet all the admission requirements of the MsDCE, including the additional training courses necessary. By this mean, students would access the second year of the double degree.

Admission criteria

The admission process will be done jointly by both schools, in a specific commission.

The application for admission to the double master's program will be made according to the calendar established by each centre, before the ordinary enrolment period.

If the number of applications exceeds the number of places offered in the academic year, these will be ordered according to the academic record, accessing the program those students with the best grades. Priority will be given to the students who access the double degree through the 1st mean (direct access to the double degree) described in the previous section.

To access the double degree, students must be admitted to the other master's degree at an individual level, meeting the pertinent criteria and with the training supplements stipulated in each case. In particular, the admission criteria to the MsDUM are part of the admission criteria to the MsDCE, thus admission to the latter implies meeting a greater number of requirements. Taking this into account, it is concluded that any student who meets the MsDCE admission requirements, with the necessary training complements, may be admitted to the double degree.

You can find all the information about the admission criteria, on the websites of the schools teaching the master's degrees (MsDCE (Admission criteria) and MsDUM (Admission criteria).
