Required documents for the qualifying master's degree
The required documents will depend on where the master's degree access title was obtained or the previous studies that give access to the university master's degree were completed:
UPC students
- Curriculum vitae
- Academic record. For those subjects adapted, recognized or validated, the academic record of the studies that gave rise to the adaptation, recognition or validation must also be presented, so that they can be assessed.
- B2.2 English level certificate. Check here which certificates are valid in the UPC.
- If you have any other training related to the areas of knowledge of the university master's degree that you want to study, different from the one that gives access, you must submit the supporting documentation.
Students from centres attached to the UPC or from any other Spanish university
- Photocopy of National ID (DNI or NIE), or Passaport
- Curriculum vitae
- B2.2 English level certificate. Check here which certificates are valid in the UPC.
- Photocopy of the degree that grants access to the master's degree or a certificate that theh degree issuance fee has been paid.
- Official academic record, showing:
- List of courses enrolled with the marks and the number of credits/hour for each course. For those courses adapted, recognized or validated, the certificate of the studies that gave rise to the adaptation, recognition or validation must also be presented, so that they can be assessed.
- Number of times each course has been enrolled.
- If pending completion, students must present their transcripts of records as well as their current enrolment certificate.
- Admission mark for the bachelor's degree of choosing. If this information is not part of the transcript of records, you may present the PAU card (university entrance examinations).
- Average final mark.
If the official transcript of records does not show some of the information required, you may present any additional official certificate.
Students from foreign universities
- Photocopy of National ID (DNI or NIE), or Passaport
- Curriculum vitae
- B2.2 English level certificate. Check here which certificates are valid in the UPC.
- Homologation credential of the degree certificate that grants access to the master's degree program.
- Degrees not homologated by the Spanish Ministry of Education: Certificate of the university or institution in higher education stating that the studies had a theoretical length of at least 3 years and that it grants access to a master's degree in the issuing country.
- Official transcript of records showing:
- List of courses enrolled with the marks and the number of credits/hour for each course. For those courses adapted, recognized or validated, the certificate of the studies that gave rise to the adaptation, recognition or validation must also be presented, so that they can be assessed.
- Number of times each course has been enrolled.
- If pending completion, students must present their transcripts of records as well as their current enrolment certificate.
- Admission mark for the bachelor's degree of choosing. If this information is not part of the transcript of records, you may present the PAU card (university entrance examinations).

- Information on the mark system applied.
If the official transcript of records does not show some of the information required, you may present any additional official certificate.
- Students from universities other than UPC, must also present the curriculum and courses programs, published by the corresponding centre, presenting the mandatory and elective courses enrolled and their credits. Furthermore, students must also present the curriculum and course program of all those courses adapted, recognised or validated that gave rise to their adaptation, recognition or validation.
- Statement of equivalency of the access-granting degree's final mark. This document must be requested online to the Spanish Ministry of Education at its e-office procedure Equivalencia de notas medias de estudios universitarios realizados en centros extranjeros > click on Acceso al servicio online).
Warning
- Admission to the master's degree is conditional on the presentation of the original documentation, to verify the veracity of the photocopies analysed for admission, at the time of enrolment.
- Academic documents (degree certificate and transcripts) issued in countries outside the European Union must be legalized hrough diplomatic channels or have the corresponding stamp. The legalization of the documents is not necessary for pre-enrolment.
