Enrolment documents

The documents students must present depend on where they have acquired the degree that grants them access to the master's degree programme:

Attention:

  • Enrolment can be made in the established dates, prior to validation of the documents by the academic secretariat.
  • Once the fees have been paid you will become an official UPC master's degree student.
  • Academic documents (degree and transcript of records) issued in countries outside the European Union must be legalized via diplomatic channel or present the appropriate apostille. Documents in languages different from Spanish, Catalan or English must be officialy officialy translated into Spanish.
  • Original documents and photocopies can be substituted by a authentic electronic copy including the verification code to confirm the authenticity of the document in the electronic files of the issuing entity.

Specific documents for former Barcelona School of Civil Engineering undergraduate students

When enrolling to a master's degree, former Barcelona School of Civil Engineering undergraduate students do not have to physically provide any documents. Nevertheless they must certify their English level when applying for the following master's degree programmes (if they do not have done so already):

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Numerical Methods in Engineering

Centres affiliated to the UPC or Spanish universities

UPC general documents
  • Copy of the DNI, NIE or passport, which must be uploaded to the e-Secretaria (at Document input).
  • Original and copy of the degree that grants access to the master's degree. If the degree is pending issuance you must present the provisional degree certificate showing the date it was obtained and the name of the studies.
  • Original and copy of the transcript of records showing the courses taken, their number of credits and final score.

Only for students that have not taken undergraduate studies in Barcelona School of Civil Engineering.

Foreign universities or higher education institutions

UPC general documents
  • Copy of the DNI, NIE or passport, which must be uploaded to the e-Secretaria (at Document input).
  • Original and copy of the degree that grants access to the master's degree. If the degree is pending issuance you must present the provisional degree certificate showing the date it was obtained and the name of the studies.
  • Original and copy of the transcript of records showing the courses taken, their number of credits and final score.
    • If the degree has not been approved by the Spanish Ministry of Education, students must provide a document issued by the university/institution, or by the country's competent authority, certifying that the degree obtained has a duration of at least 3 years and it grants access to a master's degree programme in the country of origin.

      Attention: This certificate must be presented only in case it is requested during the admission procedure.
    • If the degree has been approved, students must present the official certificate of approval.
